NFC Business Card in India: How It Works, What It Costs, and Whether You Need One
An NFC business card opens your digital visiting card with a tap on a phone. Here's how it works, what it costs in India, and who it's worth it for.

A Google review QR code cuts leaving a review down to one scan. Here's how to create one free, where to place it, what to say and which rules to follow.

A Google review QR code is a QR code that opens your business's Google review box directly, so a customer can scan, pick a star rating and write a line in about a minute. You can create one free: copy the review link from your Google Business Profile and turn it into a QR code.
Why bother? Finding your business on Google, scrolling to reviews and tapping "Write a review" is often just enough effort for a customer to put it off. A QR code removes most of those steps. This guide shows how to set one up and use it without feeling pushy.
When someone searches "dentist near me" or "cake shop in Indore", Google shows your star rating and review count right beside your name, and people compare them in seconds before deciding whom to call.
Reviews also answer questions you never get to: Is parking easy? Do they deliver on time? Is the doctor patient with kids? If you run a clinic, our guide to digital cards for doctors and clinics shows how a review link sits alongside timings and booking buttons.
Open your Business Profile
Sign in to the Google account that manages your business, then open your profile at business.google.com or search your business name on Google.
Find the review option
Look for Ask for reviews or Get more reviews. Google changes the exact label now and then, but it's always in your profile's options.
Copy the link
Google gives you a short link that opens the review box directly. Copy it and send it to yourself on WhatsApp so it's handy.
Test it
Open the link on a phone that isn't signed in to your business account. The review box should appear for your business.
Google can make the code for you: on a computer browser, the same Get more reviews screen shows a review QR code you can save as an image. Google says this works only on a computer, not on a phone. You can also paste your review link into any reliable free QR code generator and download the code as a high-resolution PNG or SVG so it stays sharp when printed. Either way, scan it once on your own phone to confirm it opens the review box.
If you already have a digital visiting card (or can set one up in about ten minutes), there's another option: add your review link to the card. DigitalCarda cards can show a Write a Review button that opens your Google review page, along with your review count. Then one QR code covers everything — customers can call, WhatsApp, save your contact, see your UPI details and review you from the same place.
The best place for a review QR code is where customers finish their visit and have a free minute:
| Business | Best spots |
|---|---|
| Restaurant or café | On the table, with the bill, at the pickup counter |
| Salon or spa | At the mirror station and the billing desk |
| Clinic | At reception on the way out, on the prescription folder |
| Shop | Billing counter, shopping bag, printed on the invoice |
| Home services | On the job card or invoice, sent on WhatsApp after the work is done |
| Online orders | A small card in the parcel |
A Google review QR code stand on the counter works well because customers see it while they wait. Our NFC standee (Rs 1,499, printed on one side) lets them tap or scan to open your card and its review button.
The QR code does the heavy lifting, but a short, friendly request makes the difference. Ask every customer as the visit wraps up — while paying the bill, collecting the order or finishing the appointment.
"Thank you for coming in! If you have a minute, a Google review really helps a small business like ours — just scan this."
For customers you serve remotely, send the review link on WhatsApp the same day, while the experience is fresh. Our free WhatsApp message templates have polite follow-up messages you can adapt.
Google removes reviews that break its review policies (opens in a new tab), and can suspend accounts that keep doing it. Keep it clean:
A mix of glowing and imperfect reviews, with thoughtful replies, looks more trustworthy than a wall of five stars. Google's own tips to get more reviews (opens in a new tab) make the same point.
You get it from your Google Business Profile: sign in to the Google account that manages the profile, open your profile on Google, and choose "Ask for reviews" or "Get more reviews" to copy the link.
Open "Get more reviews" in your Google Business Profile on a computer browser and save the review QR code Google shows, or paste your review link into any free QR code generator. Scan a test print before printing in bulk.
No. Google's policies don't allow discounts, gifts or any other reward in exchange for reviews, and reviews gained that way can be removed.
Put it where every customer finishes their visit and has a minute: the billing counter, tables, reception, invoices, shopping bags or a small card in delivery parcels.
Use one short, friendly sentence at the end of the visit, such as "If you have a minute, a Google review really helps us — just scan this." Ask every customer, not only the ones who seem happy.
Yes. A DigitalCarda card can show a Write a Review button that opens your Google review page, so one QR code lets customers call, WhatsApp, save your contact and leave a review.
